What is Koovathon?

Identifying the potential opportunities to improve the Cooum river, which would help in the below ways, Water Transportation, Tourism, Economical, Aquatic ecosystem, Waste management, Sustainability, etc.

It consists of three phases. Koovathon 1.0(Ideathon), 2.0(Hackathon), and 3.0(Policy Making).

What is Koovathon 1.0?

Koovathon 1.0 is an Ideathon. It’s a Full Day event.

How does it work?

Once Registered, you are requested to attend the event. On the day of the event, we will form the team & Themes and the problem statement will be given on Spot. As a Team, you have to come up with the best idea around Cooum River. Then, you have to present your ideas to the jury, The Best idea will get the Cash Prize of 10,000 INR.

Should I register as an Individual as a Team?

Everyone requested to register as an Individual. We will form the Team on the event date.

Do you Provide Accommodation & Travel allowance ?

No. At this point we don’t.

When can we expect Koovathon 2.0 & 3.0?

Koovathon 2.0 is a 2 Days Hackathon. Most Possibly, it will be organized by End of May Month.

Koovathon 3.0 is a policy making. Most Possibly, it will be organized by End of August month.
